What is Rally Day?

North Branch Reformed Church celebrates Rally Day the first Sunday after Labor Day every year. What is a “rally”? Why “rally”? A rally is a party!

This is the first Sunday of the new school-year when we all connect after various summer excursions. We want to start the new school-year off on the right foot, so we celebrate and pray as such! We return to our 2-service schedule at 9:15 & 10:45 and resume our full Sunday School program complete with the commissioning of 20-some faithful teachers.

Rally Day allows faces new and old to specifically familiarize themselves with the youth programming here at the church, from the Preschool to Music Groups to Youth Groups to the Sunday School curriculum all the while allowing you the opportunity to register your children in-person to participate. Not to mention, there might be some good, healthy eats and a cup of coffee to enhance the mood!

So, if you’ve been to NBRC hundreds of times or never before, please join us Sunday, September 13. Doors will open at 8:30 am for goodies and connecting in Fellowship Hall until the 9:15 Service starts and will resume around 10:15 following that service preceding the 10:45 Service.

And, if you can’t join us Rally Day, join us another time!
