Church School

NBRC has a comprehensive church school program for children ages 3 through High School. This program utilizes a bible-based curriculum and is offered at a time which allows parents to attend worship or adult education courses.

Church School Schedule: Sunday Mornings 10:15 – 11:00 am
Children who have attended the 9:00 Family Worship service go directly to their classrooms after Fellowship time. Children who have not attended the 9:00 service go into the 10:00 service with their parents and are dismissed to their classrooms after a children’s message at 10:15.

Children are placed in classes according to age until they enter kindergarten, and according to grade through high school. Children who are age 3 by October 1st may enter the 3 year old church school class.

Children are encouraged to give of themselves through weekly offerings towards support of the church and its missions. This is entirely voluntary.

Each fall, Bibles are presented to 3rd grade students during the 9:00 worship service.

There is a Surveyors confirmation course held for students in 9th grade and above each year. These surveyors study the bible, the church and the meaning of God in their lives. Surveyors who complete the course, which includes a church service project, are confirmed as members of the church in May.
